fatchers
Why cant Shitehausen get his facts right before he goes to print. His article in the Post monday 'Bristol City Glory Days' he states that the 1976 promotion game versus Portsmouth was to be theFIRST time City had been in the TOP flight. Wrong Stumphausen. City had already been in the TOP Division and even finished as RUNNERS-UP to the Champions Newcastle by only THREE points. they stayed in the Top flight for FIVE SEASONS. Check your FACTS StockHausen.
CotswoldRed
Should have won the league that year I think too. Messed up the run-in. EDIT: I don't mean '76. Was it 1907-ish? I can check the history books.

GrahamC
I thought it hilarious that the bulk of that piece was simply him asking Richard Latham what went on at Ashton Gate at the time! Stockhausen really has to be the worst "journalist" to ever report on our club. In the past few weeks he's also written in the Evening Post that Nicky Hunt has a three year contract with us (he has a two year one) and that Damion Stewart has a two year contract (he has a three year one). If he's reading this, to help you in future, this type of information is in the public domain simply by googling the inidividual's name plus Bristol City, what sort of journalist does zero research before writing his poorly constructed, error strewn articles? A truly awful one.
Riaz
Mr Stockhausen There are facts and their are opinions. You are entitled to your opinions, but please get your facts right. For example... It is a fact you have been convicted of drink driving. But it is my opinion that you are a ****. Much love.
slartibartfast
Not as bad as Swift the other Thursday, headlines...Cole relishing trip to Bournemouth. Goes on to say how good their away record is. One problem with that, they were playing at HOME!
Old Dazzler
He actually made three gaffes in the first couple of paragraphs. As well as the statement that was obviously wrong that this was the first time in the top flight - very basic BCFC history - he stated that Whitehead scored in the 3rd minute, it was actually the fifth, ok a bit picky maybe, but it does't take a lot to research what he obviously has no idea about. He was actually right when he said that there was a a 20,000 plus crowd, giving the impression that the stadium was nearly half empty, but the crowd was 27,000+ , come to think of it where were the missing 11,000? Don't worry, they all turned up to see the Liverpool game a year later when AG had 38,000+. and we won 2-1!
Superjack
In my honest opinion.... The Evil Post is a two-bob shite-rag that is not fit to even wipe a dogs arse with and the low-life parasites that work on its sports section and have the brass neck to call themselves 'journalists' should all be rounded up and shot. ..That's just my opinion, mind you.
