I BELIEVE
Holding meetings about moving back to their athletics stadium. Anyone been there before? Shame if it does hapen because you can get a good atmosphere at Selhurst Park when we go across there.

Randy Marsh
Team's who decide to play with a running rack around the pitch in English football should be liquidated and their players should receive a life time ban form the sport as a warning to anyone else having twattish ideas. Lordofthebling
A running rack around the stadium sounds a great idea...
ralphindevon
I went to a Paul Weller concert there, I presume they would completely rebuild it as it's nowhere near as good as Selhurst Park as it is now.

Glastonbury Red
Funny you should mention this. I'm the groundsman at the Palace sports centre. It's been talked about for years as a potential site for them. The site is already used for youth training and the reserves have previously used the stadium the some games. The location is great, set within a lovely 'real' park, good local transport, plenty of parking on site, and a multitude of local boozers. The stadium itself is a different matter. It's already been earmarked for demolition regardless of who gets To develop it. It's falling apart, way too open, and is not set up for top class football. Has to be a pull down and rebuild job. Also, if you think the Ashton Vale nimbys are bad, you've not seen anything yet. This lot have been successfully fighting any redevelopment in the park for more years than I've been alive. Reckon this one might been a bit pie in the sky.
sephjnr
Having been present at the athletics stadium for a game of American football, I can say that it would be a good idea for a move if Palace were to fall two divisions.
Glastonbury Red
Further to that, just found out we'll be hosting the Brazilian Olympic team during 2012 so any redevelopment will be on hold till after then.
