Monkeh
Somthing along the lines of this, Wenger wanted him to goto a prem side or a championship side looking for promotion, Not a side fighting against relegation, Arsene has always been the same when it comes to loaning out his top talent

sephjnr
This is another wind-up, surely. Besides the next wind-up for Cardiff in July.

CardiffBlackLabel
No worries Is he a decent player? We have got our fair share of players on loan at the moment. Fancy taking Jason Koumas of our hands?

Mr Popodopolous
How do these sides do it- and more to the point, why don't we do this more often? So far they have signed on loan: Bellamy, Olofinjana, Koumas, Drinkwater, Keogh and now Emanuel-Thomas. They have also signed Parkin from Preston on a permanent deal (he scored on debut) despite apparently being nearly bankrupt in the summer... Another side- Leicester since Sven went there have signed (on loan from PL clubs: Naughton, Bednar, Kirkland and now Yakubu- the latter of whom is not so old and is possibly still PL standard- if not a very sound CC striker... Ryan_BCFC
He was good for Doncaster, he ran the park when we played them at the gate. Im sure he will get a few goals for them
Bazooka Joe
How do these sides do it- and more to the point, why don't we do this more often? Look who we've got as manager - would you join a team led by him!!? Can you imagine him being persuasive or sounding enthusiastic - I think not - Nuff said. In short, because both Cardiff and Leicester are owned by very wealthy Asian billionaires, and have a reasonable chance of promotion this season. I think the Bellamy deal was important to. It's a statement of respect for Cardiff as a club, that if someone who could be in the champions league is prepared to go there. The same goes for David James at BCFC. simonwheeler
Would have been a cracking signing for us. Was immense for Donny last season. BUT The simple economics is that the market for second hand and used excrement is presently non existent and until our Keith can find some sucker to take some of our highly paid effluent off of his hands or Uncle Steve goes down to the Royal Bank of Guernsey to make a massive cash withdrawl to pay up the leeches who are comfortable in taking wages without contributing diddly zip then unfortunately the Sky Sports Transfer Centre will have mention of every other team apart from us. As the Compare Meerkat says SIMPLE

redcherryberry
Whilst in our current posistion we are simply not attractive enough to players of this calibre. Best we can expect would be a promising player from any league below or an established but current 'out of favour' championship player. Or an unknown young Prem player on loan.
