Steven Thompson chopped basso two footed in the back of the knees... Basso had to go off at half time and Thompson was sent off, that was quite a nasty tackle. A mate of mine was at the Manchester Derby back in 94? When David Buust broke his leg, I remember all the articles in the paper about that, as I was quite young it was the first time Id ever seen a leg break that horrific, still sticks in my mind! pictureonthewall Posted January 24, 2011 Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 horrible injury that David Busst recieved, yet it was not in the manchester derby mate, he was playing for Coventry and if i am correct he never played again and needed many operations on that leg. my favourite this season was on that little **** Chopra against donny , a real leg breaker which done his ligaments i think and put him out for couple of months, amazingly the ref missed it and played on, it was straight red in my opinion, but it was on chopra so who cares :whistle2: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
