In some ways, we are stil playing catch up in terms of value signings and youth development, and that might be the problem with our new, prudent policy in the short term. In terms of attitude, everything I have seen suggests that is good, and he does seem able to get the best out of some pretty average players. Colin was specifically referring to what Reading achieved with a lower wage bill but I'm sure the comparison between Keith and Brian McDermott was in his mind too.. Agree about playing catch up, which will take time. I reserve judgement on attitude until I see a full season with a settled squad; let's just say that players who used to put their bodies on the line 3 or 4 years ago are less inclined to do so now, especially in defence.
