if he is not careful he will take the cobblers into the conference, he has had a mare since he left us, time to take time out and take the right job and not say yes to any job that comes along. He got three promotions with us and yeovil and was 1 game away from the prem so he has got managerial quality but right now he is jinxed.

If he doesnt take the jobs when they are offered he wont ever get one again. Have a look at how many managers are out of work.

The Cobblers have Stockport away next, hopefully they should win that and break their barren run, which started well before GJ took the job.

If they stay up I'd have a wager on them for promotion next season.

He was asking the fans to bounce around before their last home game, bless him.

Jinxed! Or maybe he is just a limited manager who came to us at the right time.

The very fact he can only get a jobs in the bottom two leagues tells you everything you need to know.

Why hasn't he been offered anything decent since leaving us?

This doesn't have much to do with City but as it's still here...

...from what i know of GJ he's a working man...his trade is football management. He doesn't appear to let grass grow under his feet and probably has a sense that football management opportunities are limited and you grab them when you can. For a chap who didn't play at the highest level he's made a good career out of it.

He just needs to keep them up this season and I'm sure he will do well long term.

Indeed, you can see similarities with his first season here, will stick a cheeky tenner on them to go up next year... Outside bet for sure but he's a top manager who knows how to win in the lower leagues!
