spudski
I really don't know what to make of this article... http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/bristolcity/bristolcitynews/Price-wants-City-best-West/article-3492430-detail/article.html It says a lot of things we want to hear as fans, but isn't what he's saying, the same as what SL said four years ago? Another 5 year plan? What do you make of it? Anything or nothing?
havanatopia
I really don't know what to make of this article... http://www.thisisbri...il/article.html It says a lot of things we want to hear as fans, but isn't what he's saying, the same as what SL said four years ago? Another 5 year plan? What do you make of it? Anything or nothing? Four years ago we were a lot further down the football food chain than we are today; SL has realised a lot of what he wanted back then, perhaps not all but let us just say tantalisingly close to prem football ahead of time and a stadium that is still in the balance but ready to go if we get the nod. The article says a lot about Gould but not much about Pearce; that would be my only criticism of the article. Apart from that the guy sounds very confident and seems to have a lot of energy and lets hope experience to work with CS and take the club to another new level. Red Exile
There's not much detail is there? So hard to make much of it. Good luck to him. I guess anyone starting a new job has a plan - 5 years is reasonable. Recent experience suggests that if the club get things right off the pitch then we'll have far more chance of getting them right on it.
Monkeh
tbh its going to be nice to have new imput and a new direction from the board hopefully some fresh ideas to help freshen up the club again as it is very flat at the moment,
David Brent
Richard Gould may have been a success for Somerset Cricket but I hope we don't base any business plan on his experience. I know hes nothing to do with City anymore but I was glad to see the back of him. If i've read the article right, that is.
