Having said that, last season 144% of turnover on wages! On a City related note, given these figures would we want to make the PL? Unless we do a yo-yo club a'la WBA and maybe but less likely Blackpool, look how bloody expensive it is!The debts and losses required just to be sustainable are crazy money. With a new stadium I think we would try and model our finances like Stoke, wealthy backer who's a fan of the club and now ready to start there 4th season in the top flight without relying on his money for everything. UEFA ruling- yeah, wages are out of control at many clubs, but on the other hand would it create a glass ceiling? Pros and cons with all things, though I guess solvency is the main thing.
