Riaz
We owe our best recent memories to Gary Johnson, I never liked the man or his style but you cant argue with the success he achieved, he massively over achieved in that one glorious "nearly" season. When if ever will we get that excitement and buzz again? Good luck to him and super Bas. Exactly. A magic couple of years, whether you like him or not. Coxy27
Also, I had a quick look on Bas' wikipedia page to see how his career has panned out, and found the 'Bristol City' section pretty amusing! After being courted by Coventry City, and a host of other clubs, Savage finally decided to sign for Bristol City on a short-term contract. He was soon a favourite of Gary Johnson during his time at Bristol City, and he finally quickly scored his first League goal - a header against S****horpe United. He soon won over the City fans, not just by scoring his first goal but with his extravagant style of play. However, he was relegated to the substitutes bench following the arrival of Mark McCammon, before finally leaving the club after being released from his contract. 'Extravagant style' hmmm...
