I know many people don't like Di Canio because of his media interpreted Political views, but as a footballer he was a model Professional.

He obviously has that Passionate Italian attitude, but if he can do the same as a manager as he did as a player, inspire all around him, then i think he will do well at Swindon. I especially like the fact he has banned mobile phones, and only allows one call on match day. The result, is that the team is now talking and socialising...Team building.

All most players do now is spend time on their phones, Ipods, Iphones, etc instead of talking. No wonder team spirit seems to be lacking around many clubs.

I admire the man for his work ethic.

I've met him on a few occasions, and watched training with him involved at Formello when he was at Lazio. A real eye opener, when you see how regimented and strict it is, compared with many training grounds here.

Hope it works out for him tbh.

Perhaps Milly should take a leaf out of his book.
