It wasn't a tap in but he doesn't seem to get into positions for tap ins - and to be fair we don't create many anyway. Not to force the keeper to at least make a save from that position would be very poor at any level, but missing the target by 2-3 yards is unbelievable. Sounds like Doncaster started very low in confidence and Maynard would have definitely killed them off if he'd scored in the first minute. Since then Doncaster haven't played well but could have scored twice, so we've obviously let them back in it and their confidence is growing.
