Guest D_black91 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Showed Maynard how to do it today. Ran the channels well and always lively.
Superjack Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Showed Maynard how to do it today. Ran the channels well and always lively. Sort of confirms what I suspected. Maynard knows how to do it. Pitman's interested. Stead and Pitman on Tuesday please.
BITW Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Stead was woeful today. Taylor looked more lively when he came on.
Superjack Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Stead was woeful today. Taylor looked more lively when he came on. Fair enough. Taylor and Pitman will do.
BCFC Jordan Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Maynard and Stead were poor. Pitman and Taylor however were brilliant. They linked up well, chased the ball and seem to have a good understanding between eachother. Start them both against Reading.
Nogbad the Bad Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Great awareness from Pitman to guide his header over Basso - Maynard would not have scored from that position. Pitman constantly looks to find space to receive the ball in dangerous positions, something we haven't seen from Maynard for some time. He also single mindedly gets his shots in which lifts the team and the crowd. When Stead isn't at peak form he can look ungainly and ineffectual, Pitman and Taylor to start with Albert and JCR on Tuesday.
hinsleburg Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Excellent run, ball and finish for the goal. Who was it with the pass, kilkenny?
beaverface Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 If we are going to pump it Taylor is the man, he can actually head the ball. .....also Taylor tried to rough up some of their players as well. About time we tried some dirty tactics :-)
Pederho ll Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Pitman is a seriously gifted natural goalscorer. The lad will score a heap of goals given the opportunity , because given a half a chance he bags it. In a team that creates few chances, he should be first name on the team sheet.
Pederho ll Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 .....also Taylor tried to rough up some of their players as well. About time we tried some dirty tactics :-) Yep, l was well impressed with Taylor today. I think he is the perfect player to play up top in a 4-5-1 or in a pair of Taylor and Pitman, in a 4-4-2.
pride of the west Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 No brainer. Pitman and taylor both must start on tuesday. Stead clearly not fit, not his fault but cant carry passengers at this point in time. Maynard needs a kick up the ass and needs to be dropped.
Red-Robbo Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Maynard and Stead were poor. Pitman and Taylor however were brilliant. They linked up well, chased the ball and seem to have a good understanding between eachother. Start them both against Reading. I'd go for this. Having Maynard and Steady to bring on if we need a refresh on the hour, in a reverse from today.
beaverface Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Doesn't it seem that Millen is stumbling between formations and players as he hasn't got a clue what his best team and best formation is?!
