My Rose Tinted World

Welcome To The Jungle

Got told today that I'm looking through Rose tinted glasses at us this year as I am yet to get on the Millen Out Bandwagon and I am apparently way too optimistic.

I thought today we played well and here's why

1) How many real chances did they have...thought about it, the answer is 1 and they scored

2) How many did we have...you guessed it, a fair few, Basso made a few good stops today.

3) Thought Skuse was great at RB

4) Taylor and Pitman good up front

5) JCR made himself useful and kilkenny can pass like no one else

6) Back 4 looked good aside from 1 lapse.

So thats why I was told I was looking through Rose tinted glasses, but then I read these.

Both Neutrals, both said indirectly that we were unlucky and the better side.

So do I have Rose tinted glasses on, or do an awful lot of people, with the greatest respect, need to wipe the sh*t from their eyes?

Fair enough.

2) How many did we have...you guessed it, a fair few, Basso made a few good stops today.

Not exactly difficult saves. One deflected shot straight at him and maybe a couple of scuffed shots!

3) Thought Skuse was great at RB

Did ok, but not for their goal.

4) Taylor and Pitman good up front

Yep, they played well for 30mins, what about the other 60mins?!

5) JCR made himself useful and kilkenny can pass like no one else

Our midfield was completely wide open, and Kilkenny didn't really create endless chances for us, did he?

6) Back 4 looked good aside from 1 lapse.

1 laspe is all it takes !

WHAT......Skuse was done like a Kipper for their goal. When will people realise he ain't good enough.....whatever position.

I think that's a little unfair - He has the attributes to be a good right back like Bradley Orr was, but we need to decide that he is a right back and develop him purposely for that role.

He needs to lose the utility man tag as that's going to be his downfall at this club.
