The Chaplain Posted October 18, 2011 Report Share Posted October 18, 2011 Disappointing again. Terrible decision deprived us of what would have been a well earned and hard fought point. Yes it was a defensive move going with just 1 up front but we clearly intended to be solid and try and nick something - in our situation I can't really complain about that. Skuse, Cisse, Elliot, Stewart and Nyatanga all had decent games. Maynard inevitably struggled, McGivern was given the run around, first half especially, by Zaha and Kilkenny was wasteful. Taylor looked useful when he came on. Neither keeper had a save to make really and it was a poor game not helped by a fussy referee. We deserved a point. Heads never dropped and the atittude, even after the final whistle, was positive by coming over to the fans etc. We need a new start and some positive leadership on and off the field - here's to a new era! Oh and Palace were poor, and, with them in the top 6, less that 12,000 was shocking - good cheerleaders tho! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
