Gazred
Thank **** you're not chairman. We have to be looking for at least £4 million. That is not a lot to the Fulham's and West Brom's of this world when you consider Maynards goals could be the difference between staying up or relegation. I said earlier in the year I could see him going in January. If he stays fit until Xmas and bangs in a few more goals a lower Prem team is bound to come knocking. Well if we get at least £4m for him then that club have paid over the odds. Not saying it cant happen, plenty of players get overpriced during the Jan window. However i think the fact his contract is up weighs heavily against us and we need to recoup as much as possible against the £2.2m we paid for him. If we get anything more than that i can't see it being over £3m but id love to be proven wrong. If NM was still under another year or twos contract we would easily be demanding £5-6m+ for him, sadly thats not the case and its the contract length not just the players ability thats setting his value at the moment.
