Southampton Predictions

That's the problem he hasn't said anything. He just let this situation snowball and rumble on for months when he could of made his position crystal clear months ago allowing our football club go protect themselves.

I'm not saying Maynard is the devil for wanting to move on, footballers come and go, that's life.

I just think he could of been more transparent and vocal in his intentions.

TBH I just hope he leaves next week and we can get some decent money for him. One final point you think it possible for him to give 100% when he knows his future isnt here! I'm not convinced he can with all the distraction.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

agreed mate, but if he said he wanted to leave he would have been demonstrisised by everyone on here, and more alarmigly on matchday given if the coventry booing rumours are true....i guess maybe its a rock in a hard place situation

How's everyone feeling this is going to be a tough game I would happily take a point so im going for a action packed 2-2 draw.:city:

Saints arent that good...Their form will peter out after Christmas. Every club in every league whether top or bottom goes through a sticky patch at some stage during the season and I predict that theirs will start with a 1 nil defeat at home by City. Goal Scored in the 87th Minute by Albert counterattacking after prolongued spell of attacking play by Southhampton.

< city are so unpredictable so my heart says 2-1 city, maynard and elliot, but my head says 3- 0 southampton,if were lucky, gashead scoring at least 2

Carey is too slow now for southampton. watched them down there last season, great day out regardless of the score (they lost 2-0 to rochdale so do lose there and to lesser teams)

de prado is everywhere you dont expect him and they are pretty quick on the break due to the class of the first and second balls forward.

i would stick with wilson and mcgivern for legs,if wilson does as hes been doing, will keep up with them.

wont stop the defence splitting crosses that will leave dj with no chance tho.

hope im wrong but feel a right hiding on the cards for us.

saints 1 city 2 would be a dream but 4-0 defeat more likely

One thing for sure Soton are going to attack from the first whistle which will suit us with our pace to counter attack if we can defend the onslaught, a similar performance to West Ham would be great, even better if we could snatch a 1-0 win.

I like this! Currently 25/1 with Betfair, if they decide to pay out after the Irish race betting fiasco!

Saints 3 City 0 :tumbleweed:

Inclined to agree. I actually believe we will be relegated at the moment. The only thing that can change that for me is a change of personnel come the January transfer window, my only issue with that is knowing this club the best we'll get is two in, one or two out and it won't be enough. I also think many players will avoid joining us as who would want to join a team fighting relegation.
