Lew-T
Clueless! "I'm not renewing my season ticket anymore" "mcinnes is no better than millen" I can't believe what I am reading on otib this evening. When Del took over we had 6 points and were 3 points from safety!! Del has got us to 30, which leaves us 6 points ahead of the drop zone! Can you not see the progress? This is his first season with us and when he took over, we looked doomed! He has done wonders with us and I can't wait for the summer to see what he can do to the squad. In today's game, the first half we played well, but unfortunate for us we were down to ten men! And then when we were down to 9 it was game over. How can mcinnes change that? He may of made some bad decisions today, but for goodness sake, this is his first season with us! He is still looking at our strengths and weaknesses. But to say he is as bad as millen is truly mind blowing!! Get a grip and keep the faith.

Red-Robbo
I actually thought we played quite well today. One careless goal, but at that time I had every confidence we could score at least 1 against a fairly mundane Leeds side. Wilson was naive in his sending off, but Bolassie, other than being quite boisterous, I'm not sure deserved either card. Did anyone from the Williams (who'd have got a better view than me) see a foul? At 9 v 11 it was game over, but at least we were still f-ing going for it, even though it looked hopeless. As for Leeds - last time I saw that much diving was in a Lesbian porn movie. Dreadful, cynical side who repeatedly conned yet another hopeless ref. FanaticRed
Im not sticking up for the boo boys or anything, as i think Del is doing a great job! BUT whos fault was it that we were down to 9 men in the first place? our own. we had a poor day at the office today, despite what anyone says! you cant try and take any positives out of a 3-0 HOME defeat! ateyomike
this is really a stupid post del boy is still working with players that arent his i think he is a really good prospect of a manger its almost like this season is over hope we stay up and just to building a tea for the future we got to stick with del if a moment of madness came over the gate and got rid of him who could do a job with our record of not keeping our mangers we dont want to get like the sags

Let him help us scrape through to survival and in the summer have a clear out to get us pushing for the top half atleast. He has improved us greatly in terms of defending and playing better football. All that is missing at the moment is that cutting edge which is our only worry imo. Next season i am confident we wont be worrying about relegation as we will be in top 10. Saintees!
I don't think it was ever going to be easy for BC to pull themselves out of where they were. You're in a batlle, but you've made good progress despite a lot of tricky factors...referees, luck, an inherited team and probably lack of cohesion as a unit....these things take time to sort! Really wishing you guys all the best..I believe you'll survive, and push on. Don't know what the moaners want (well I do!!) but this is football. The best teams don't always win,,I just think, over time, it WILL turn. Hope i'm right!!

Jordan Tansley
But it is his fault he got himself booked twice in a minute when we already had a man disadvantage. Lack of discipline and brain cells cost us today, hardly the managers fault.

Jordan Tansley
Ultimately it is his responsibility. Let's not start making excuses for this manager! Sure del will sort it tho Not entirely sure how the manager can be responsible for a defender who, had it not been for injury and suspension, wouldn't ordinarily start making an error and getting himself sent off. Nor am I sure how it's the managers fault that for all Yannicks skill and pace he doesn't have a single brain cell. It's Derek's responsibility to punish both players and ensure they do not make the same mistakes again, but I can't see what he could have done to stop it happening. The individuals are at fault and must take the blame entirely.
gordie
I said when Del took over if he keeps us up this season he should be knighted Sir Del and i still feel that way at the moment, alright some of the football isn't that brilliant at the moment but its a hell of a lot better than when Millen was here, keep it up Del and we will stay up by the skin of our teeth but at least you have given us hope . But maybe del could have taken bolasie off after the first one?! With hindsight its easier to criticise. I actually have no problem with what happened today - But I guess my point is that McInnes should have some of the blame when we lose, even if he's still working with millens squad... In the past individual mistakes that kept happening were dismissed as "not the managers fault" But I do think Del's getting the most out of this limited squad and I'm sure he'll make sure red cards are kept to a minimum
BristolCider9
Completely agree with this thread! It is frustrating watching them sort of games today..but the players still need our support to make sure we survive in the championship! I think McInnes is pretty brave to take the job seeing the state that Millen left us in and hes done a great job so far! COYR!

So Bolasie is to blame sorry you are wrong. How could we nick a point when we were already one down and clearly were not going to score with that lump Wood up front on his own? We had absolutely zero creativity today and deserved to lose.
