Your Shout. The Formation For Blackpool?

Where do we start? :dunno:

Firstly we are up against "you know who"

Our team/midfield is depleted with the loss of Elloitt for the season

They are flying, we are a crock of shite atm

Hard to say much more apart from us City fans crossing everything and hoping we can pull off a win.

After this come

Ipswich A

Leicester H

Cardiff H

Portsmouth A

Struggle to see us getting anything out of those except maybe a point at Pompey

I would introduce Spence in a team formation of

JAMES

SPENCE

WILSON

FONTAINE

FOSTER

ALBERT

CISSE

KILLKENNY

PEARSON

WOOD

PITMAN

Bench: Bolaise,Gerken,Reid,Carey,Stead

Weak midfield but nothing much in the squad for us unless Del Boy can get someone in quickly

Im going for a 1-1 scoreline

Our defense is rub.... lets say less than saifactory, we clearly need to score goals, blantanly obiviously, so my view is a definate 3-5-2, get as many in the box and play as much of the game in the other half. Beacuse the formation 4-5-1 or a version of 4-3-3 which ends up being 4-5-1 is past its sell by date.

I agree. Lest hope he can get a really decent strong midfielder in asap. I am sure the club/SL will back him because they will see just how serious the situation has become

4-1-3-2

Balance with round pegs in round holes - players that know their positions inside out.

Few out through injuries so that influences it, and if we had someone like Pearson on the right, I'd drop Albert to tighten it up a bit...

.................James

Foster Carey Fontaine McAllister

................Cisse

Albert Kilkenny Pearson

.........Wood Pitman

I think this is probably the best we can hope for..

Is Carey fit again?

I like this but the pace of Blackpools abundance of wide players and Macca scares me. Spence to RB and Foster going over (he looks better on the left anyway)

James

Ribs / Spence, Wilson, Fonts, Foster

Albert, Killa, Pearson, McGivern

Brett, Woods .....

The on the basis that, McGIVERN cant defend, but he's not to bad going forward

Bolassie .. just seems to loose the plot somehow

Cisse .. definately not right somehow ...

Carey, if only training tomorrow cant be ready,

or

Young Bryan in at left midfield ...........

At some point we have to throw a youngster in, or its not worth having any .

With blackpools front players of Betnar Phillips Taylor Fletcher Ferguson and Ormerod and their pace out wide it's hard to see how our defence can stop them

New midfielder is now a must

Taylor-Fletcher has been injured and will probably miss the City game.

Not ligament damage as first thought but 'bone bruising' which according to Hollowhead can take a long time to clear up.

Matt Phillips played last night but Bednar and K.Phillips were on the bench and no sign of Ormerod in the squad.

Could see that team shipping 5 easily, Cisse has to be in there.

Would like to see Bolasie given more starting chances, definitely has the talent just needs more experience at this level and only one way of getting that!

All three were on the pitch at some time with Ferguson starting the game as well.

That is scary against our defence.

Fair play to Pool. They have sold 650 for sat which probably means a 1000 will travel. And with that ******g drum beating out there will be a great atmosphere

Fleck on loan from Rangers is a cracking player as well

Apologies for replying to my own post, but todays new signing changes things a bit - I think he'll start the game so;

.................James

Foster Carey Fontaine McAllister

................Cisse

Albert Davis Pearson

.........Wood Pitman

Not sure if Pearson is fit though.

They short of quite a few players as well including Bednar and Matt Phillips which helps..

Same team what i would play that is. Mcca way past his best but would fight more for the cause than Mcgivern would/does.

Bolasie, Stead, Wilson, Kilkenny & Gerken on the bench.

I think he will play......

James

Foster Carey Fonts Macca

Albert Cisse Killa Davis Pearson

Brett

If Pearson isn't fit I would go 4-4-2 Killa out on the left with a licence to roam and float inside with wood up top

As you say if they're all fit, so do I.
