bangers
All this doom and gloom is understandable but let's look at the BIGGER picture. We are STILL out of the relegation zone, somehow there are 3 teams below us.....and we still have fixtures that we COULD win...... Watford - Home Barnsley - Home Coventry - Home Derby - Home To name 4, not to mention the away games against Forest and Pompey...... We are still in this, it definately isn't over yet......we win 3 of these 4 games chances are we will stay up.....and judging by recent results these 4 away from home are POOR....... Imagine a midfield 2 of Cisse and Davis.......does that not sound much stronger????? We are Bristol City, we will pick up the odd away win from nowhere, Southampton?? Leicester?? Plenty of points to play for, and plenty of chances for us to push up from the mess we currently STILL lie outside......

We as fans have been looking at the bigger picture for years...it's just history repeating itself. The mess is far bigger thn anything we can imagine imho. Robin101
The problem is, in my opinion, momentum. Coventry, who for so long have looked nailed on for relegation, suddenly believe that they can EASILY get out of trouble (They have won 6 of their last 7 at home). Forest, have won two on the bounce and are in a similar position to Coventry. Portsmouh are only down there due to non-footballing circmstances. Doncaster, admittedly, will probably go down. Little old Bristol City, however, can't buy a win, are strewn with injuries and have a divided fan base. Relegation stamped all over us - please, please, please let me be proved wrong. bangers
With respect, we shouldn't need Davis against these 4 teams......especially at home. Watford, Cov, Derby and Barnsley all have poor away records..... Win 2/3 of these And the future will look brighter Again.

TRL
Look at Coventrys next 5 fixtures though...... They have a head of steam, confidence is up, it means quite a bit. That is why I am so concerned with city, just 1 goal conceded knocks all the confidence out of them. It is just like th elast few weeks under Millen. I see nothing positive at the moment, if the clubs around us win their game in hand, they are above us, so in that respect, it is not even in our own hands! Now that is worrying! bangers
Bullshit. Pompey win their game in hand they are still below us.....Donny need to win and drAw their 2 games to go above us.....chances are they will lose at least 1 of them. Fact is its in our hands, granted we have been Awful recently.....but a result out of nowhere, ie Leicester or southampton or a win against one of our rivals and everything will look better again..... Granted we have been poor recently, but all it takes is 1 win and things could be on the up.
