Spot on. My son & I 'bothered' to hare it from South East London last night , making personal as well as financial sacrifices (me having to get up at an ungodly hour to get to Newcastle for an early meeting today, him forgoing breaks to ensure homework was complete.) Shame therefore (Stead excepted) that the gutless bunch of nomarks in red couldn't be 'bothered' to put in a shift. I can just about live with the fact they're talentless (through gritted teeth wishing they were elsewhere,) I can't accept their continued spineless, over-exalted, over-opinionated, overpaid presence at  The Gate. As long as they remain our Season Tickets will not be renewed. Therein lies the irony: this dross ,a la Hunt, will be long gone - they won't hang around for 65% if Div1 turnover. The penalty for their lack of commitment will be paid by the next generation of players and by us the fans. God help anyone dumb enough to give them a chance at their club.
