bs3
Many of you on here think that it maybe Louis last season , if that is the case I think a fitting tribute would be to vote for him for player of the season. Amazingly Louis as never won this accolade I feel he deserves to win it not just for season performances against Forest and Southampton to name but two but also the way he has played and represented Bristol City since 1996. So vote Louis.

biggythecity
In all fairness apart from 2 good runs where players have looked, hard to pick anyone so why not!!Would deserve it
The Hippo
While I agree he deserves recognition from the club I think it would make a mockery of player of the season award tho. I'm sure he'll get his much deserved recognition from the club and fans when he retires.
Lita For Congo
There is apparently talks for Louis to have a testimonial against the Gas at home IF the police allow it.
JammyOne
I would vote him anyhow. He's really been the only stand out player for me. Perhaps that's not fair, Fontaine, Stead and Pearson have been great through out also. But Carey has been the stand out player for me. He's Bristol City through and through. MichaelRobartes
Louis has been a great servant and owes Bristol City Football Club nothing, I don't think that anyone could dispute that. I'd love to see him go out before he's pushed, he gets plenty of stick (especially from some bloke behind me in the Atyeo) but I think he's still been an important player for us this season, particularly with all our injuries. Hoping he'll be properly replaced in the summer (whether he gets another contract or not) and that he gets a decent turnout for his testimonial. arpaul
There is apparently talks for Louis to have a testimonial against the Gas at home IF the police allow it. Shame if that is the case. He deserves far better and more illustrious opponents than the Blue few.
foghornred
Surely he doesn't qualify for a testimonial does he? I don't think that we will ever see another like Louis in this day and age of mercenary footballers,if he does beat Atyeo's record then I think that he will keep it forever ! Robbored
10 years unbroken service I think you will find, or it always was. He was at Coventry 2004 - 2005 so doesn't qualify under the 10 years of unbroken service. Anyhow testimonials are so out of date nowadyas with players earning such fantastic wages particularly in the PL and Championship. After two years at that level players are made for life so unless testimonial revenue goes 100% to charity ( as Niall Quinn ) then it would be an insult to your average fan,

redcherryberry
After his perofrmance aganst Lambert at their place he showed against the big lumps he still can cut it despite his age. I got no probs with him being back up to someone like Bikey but where does that leave James Wilson? Pushing 23 and not even got 40 league games under his belt. Option at RB perhaps? And he would have broke it by now had he not bailed out to Coventry. Great servant but him and Murray both left us, people tend to forget that.
