eskay
Out of contract at Leicester, Gary Johnson is after him but could he do a good job here? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18019404

Guest
Always remembered him well, but every time I have seen him since (admittedly not many) he has ballsed up in some way or another.
Monkeh
no made a large number of mastakes at Leicester which is why they brought Casper in,
TRL
Made of Glass as well, always on the treatment table. I am sure we can find better
Lack of Action Man
I'd have him back for sure. Assuming Spink stays on as GK coach, I think we could have two very competitive keepers this season.
bearded_red
Apart from the Wolves away game in which he flapped more than Phillips on a bad day I always rated Weale while he was here and his penalty save off Yakubu will live long in the memory, but as an earlier poster said he seems to have made an error for Leicester almost every time I have seen him on the tele. If we were to sign him I think it would be a fine addition to the squad, but I would hope we are able to find somebody better.

Ron
After a good first season Weale has really fallen out of favour with Leicester fans, no thanks.

Andy Horsman
no thanks, never forger Wolves away and Blackpool away. Not a patch on Basso and not as consistent as Deano
Taylor10
On his day Weale is a steady championship keeper. He is good enough to step in and do a job imo. I would take him back. Baring in mind there are not a lot of good keepers around, and getting him in on a free would provide us with good cover as well as saving the funds to strengthen elsewhere. bcfcOK
If Weale wouldn't mind being number 2 to Gerken it would be a good signing, especially for free. Iain Turner (ex-Everton) Keeper has been released by Preston, could also do a job as number 2. Also, Nicky Hunt has been released
robofwells
if we want to bring somebody back lets have Basso can't get in Hull team.
BS15_RED
if we want to bring somebody back lets have Basso can't get in Hull team. Too right, it's no coincidence that we've struggled badly since he left the club. We couldn't half do with his positivity around the club
Taylor10
if we want to bring somebody back lets have Basso can't get in Hull team. If only! He is obviously not the keeper he was, but I would have him back in a flash!

My thoughts are similar to this, always thought he did well when picked for us but does seem to have been somewhat inconsistent for Leicester. I wouldn't be distraught with a return but would prefer we looked elsewhere.
The Casual Connoisseur
No thanks, let GJ sign him, he'll be good enough to join the City old boys at the inbreds, not championship standard nowadays though..............oh and he's made of glass! Rednready
Its history, but Henderson was the man. He controlled the box and Carey and the others in front of him seemed more secure with him in goal. Unfortunately we didn't get to see enough of him. Swede
He will end up at Yeovil. For someone so big he looked really susceptable to long range shots. Shame really, imagine him being selected for England by the new manager, I'd p-ss meself listening to him pronouce his name.
