slartibartfast
Nah, that means we have a bigger fan base, as you say, as we should, we are a large city after all. Number of fans does not determine the size of the club, they are two separate entities. What does big mean anyway? You either base it on the clubs history, or what the club are doing right now, either way, Blackpool are bigger. If you base it on attendance, over the season, they are better than us. On one game at Wembley, they are smaller than us. Make of all that, what you will. It's ok, I still make it we're bigger ta .
pdgifford64
Blackpool has a population of 140,000 and took 29K to wembley yesterday. That's not a bad effort to be fair. Don`t let facts and reason get in the way of a good argument. PDG
South Bristol Red
Crikey, you're right, and before then there wasn't a top division at all, was there? We were only in Division One in 1976-80, so we weren't in the top division, we were in the second - but hang on, that's the Championship isn't it? So in 1976-80 we must have been in the third division. Silly me. I love the fact that some people think that football didn't exist until the Premier League was created. I dare you to tell Gerry Gow he wasn't playing in the top division in 1976-80. Good luck. a bit touchy, i was just pointing out a glaring error i know there was a top flight before the premier league was created i also know that there wasn't a premier league in 1980 i love the fact that you think there was
