Super
Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets Here's a little treat. A smiling Albert Adomah after netting his superb goal. http://pic.twitter.com/vVKfwabM In fairness there aren't many pictures where Albert isn't smiling!! Top bloke. Nogbad the Bad
Only 11 starts though - Spent alot of time on the bench, as you often remind us about Pitman!! Fair enough. I wasn't trying to exaggerate his appearances, the stats I saw didn't mention subs. apps., just gave a total. It seems he scored all his 5 goals in his first 6 matches before getting injured and wasn't the same/didn't get extended runs in the team afterwards. Nogbad the Bad
Isn't there already a thread on pitman? Yep, and he's quite rightly being discussed in this thread as well because he just scored a goal and 'brilliantly' created another in the match we're following. Brizzle Jordan
Well done to Derek for what looks like finally putting together a well structured pre-season and fitness regime that has given us a few good performances and wins.
JamboBCFC
Pitman is a very good striker. If you had to pick anyone from our squad for a 1 on 1 to fall to it'd be him which would be the reason I'd play him every game personally.. Anyway hopefully all coming together for a good start to the season!
OldlandReddies
Well done to Del and the boys. Very important to get off to a flying start this season and build the momentum and confidence unlike the last few seasons when we have just not hit the ground running. Cunnyfunt
And if we sign Baldock what happens then? Pitman will be on the bench. Healthy competition never did anyone any harm.

BcfcAllen
They have beat Paulton 2-1 tonight so they are in form as well. Now you've got me slightly worried. If there in that sort of form im worried they could put a dampner on the decent little run were starting to get going.

It's shaping up to be some game on Saturday. Both managers have come out and said that they will pick their best eleven. Both teams seem to be in good shape at this early stage so get down the Gate and support your team and Louis !

BCFC Jordan
Quote from a Dunfermline fan on their forum. The goals we conceded were poor ones defensively, but on the other hand, the movement, the fast pace and the ball retention of Bristol City was amazing to watch - I was in awe at their 2nd goal with the neat back heel into the path of Adomah

They are a quality team though and we obviously won't face a squad of that quality in the 1st so I was encouraged by the second half performance.
