Super
Wont get many headlines tonight but that save just before Albert got the 4th was crucial. Looks a great shot stopper. Very impressed with him.

Jordan Tansley
Such good command of his box, and of the defence generally... We've wanted a leader in our back 4 for a long time, but he could be it. Very impressed.

formerly known as ivan
Great handling on a few occasions from a few difficult shots on a wet surface. Think we can all be very happy with him

JammyOne
Hard to judge as he didn't have to make any kind of save at all, apart from the one that went in. Although you can't blame him for that, that was partly Foster's and Skuse's fault. Not saying Gerken is better, but Gerken may have kept a clean sheet in that match - and he definitely wouldn't have kicked the ball out at every attempt. Time will tell; undecided on him at the moment. Let's wait and see when he's challenged.
Welcome To The Jungle
Really??? I was not over impressed and his kicking left me feeling rather concerned. Well he cleared the halfway line almost everytime apart from when he came right out to clear

The most impressive thing was the way he communicated with his back four, and as for his kicking, when was the last time we had a 'keeper who could kick? At least he connected properly everytime, even his bad ones that went straight out of play went miles.

Gerken wouldn't of kept a clean sheet, nothing anyone could of done about the goal, defence just switched off for a second. Not sure what you mean by he didn't have a save to make as a saw two really good saves from. And again his kicking? i thought it was really good, didn't scuff the ball and always cleared it well

Ron
Made two very good saves, had no chance with the goal. Palace charged down a number of his clearances and a slippy surface doesn't help. His presence around his area was fantastic, acting as a sweeper on a couple of occasions to full effect. Great handling also.
CiderSomerset
Looks like a great keeper to me, organises his defence, doesnt panic and is full of encouragement.. Couldnt have done much about the goal...

bywaterred
Good keeper looked sharp and it was nice to hear the keeper being vocal. Nice gloves too!
SimonL
Watching his performances, he must give the back four more confidence than last years keeper.
BCFC Jordan
He seems to have a sense of confidence around him that we've been missing in a keeper for years. Very commanding of the defence as well, which again we've been missing. Oh and he seems like a really humble guy in his interview. Anybody noticed that all of our signings come across very well in their interviews? Hopefully a good sign.
redcherryberry
I feel safe when watching Heaton which isnt something i feel when watching Gerken. Heaton's kicking wasnt great like someone else said but it was tricky out their given the wet conditions. Great signing for me.
Red-Robbo
He saved 3 one on ones Quite right. He was totally tidy, totally dependable. Heato... you've endeared yerself to the club already IMO.
bearded_red
I was impressed with him, lots of chatter as well, always a good thing for a 'keeper. Thats one thing he certainly has! In the friendly at Bournemouth he was constantly shouting and organising his defence. A very good quality in a keeper.
pride of the west
I thought it was quite refreshing not to see him get frustrated and start kicking off when the quick ball to the full backs was on. For all his experience Jamo couldnt quite grasp the fact that full backs arnt going to be in 20 yrds of space 2 seconds after he got his hands on the ball.
