old_eastender
What a transformation... I like many other on here thought he was total pants based on last seasons poor performances and I must admit, after Tuesday I still thought he may have put in a one-off decent appearance... well after today I have to eat humble-pie and salute the guy... DavidNoble
THE WOOLF. Class today. Took his first goal well and followed in well with good reactions for the second. I'm liking the look of our left-hand side.

Guest Ashton1
Not taking anything away from Cunningham but Woolford deserved MoM today. I agree, it was close! Different player than Albert I know, but much more effective so far this season. HOwever I guess this is what you call a "balanced" team.
Alex_BCFC
One of the main reasons Woolford has started to look good for me, is Cunningham. Total class.
luke_bristol
Shows how important the partnership between a left/right back and left/right winger is. Without that blonde waste of space from manchester city behind him woolford looks a different player!
Andy082005
Sill early days but he is finally starting to show the ability he was rumoured to have. Loads of credit has to go to Cunningham to, his overlapping and forward runs frees up plenty of space for Woolford to work in. Just shows what a poor player McGivern really was

ChrisBCFC
Really pleased to see him do well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Woolford top goalscorer in the ChMpionship at the moment??! Wonder what the odds on that would of been!

Redallover157
This. They both complement each other brilliantly. Even better is that they look like they're still getting used to each other. Still hesitant at times but Cunningham has bedded in a lot quicker than I expected.

Gazred
Woolford unlike some of our poor signings over the years, always seemed to have an air about him that he wasn't performing to his fullest. It seemed odd that one teams star player in the same league who had a reputation as a goal scoring midfielder could suddenly look so far out of his depth. Sure confidence has a lot to do with it. Perhaps DM has played a part in that, but those 4 goals for him so far could do wonders for him for the season ahead.
BCFC Jordan
His good relationship with Stead off the pitch is genuinely a huge factor imo, they seem to know each others game very well, and with them being two intelligent players that'll always result in goals. A great left back behind him in Cunningham is also a factor, and I think Cunningham did just about deserve MoTM today, it's refreshing to see a comfortable left back at long last, and he's only 21! Frightening prospect.

miketh2nd
Great game from Woolford, now he has a decent LB behind he doesn't have to chase back and defend so much. Cunningham and Woolford seem to be working a good partnership on the left already! Who would of thought it 3 games in and Woolford is our top scorer fair play to Wooly. CliftonCliff
Agree entirely. Some of us said even before his recent revival that there always seemed to be a good player in there somewhere trying to get out. It's very gratifying to see him start to come good at last. It's a combination of all the various factors people have mentioned. Cunningham has helped him a lot and was excellent again today. As many have noted, Woolford's confidence tends to be fragile and fans getting off his back and giving him a bit of recognition and encouragement has also helped in that regard. But above all I would say huge credit has to go to the manager for not only seeing that the guy has ability, but also using his man management skills to build Woolford's self-belief and get the best out of him. There's been endless talk since God knows when about this mythical, creative, attacking midfield player who's going to spray killer passes around and score goals himself. It would take Paul Gascoigne in his prime to fulfill some people's unrealistic fantasies and expectations, but had it occurred to anyone until very recently that we already had in our midst an attack-minded midfielder with an eye for goal and a decent scoring record to his name before joing us? McInnes's unlikely decision to include Woolford in his starting line-up in pre-season was questioned by many. It's looking like a very shrewd judgement now. Luxo Jr.
Since Woolford has been with us there's been an inexplicable link to Fernando Torres. Both have been off form consistently for their new clubs, until now. Both of them are now scoring. I don't believe in coincidences.
Mr Popodopolous
Always thought he had somethng, did well at S****horpe with less quality around him. Better support on the left, better management, who knows but long may it continue.

ChrisBCFC
Was absolute quality today. Strong and confident and, suprisingly, excellent when on the ball. Looks like a real threat, and joint 2nd top goalscorer in the league is great for him and us. Looks like he has a decent finish on him too. Robbored
The Woollford situation has perfectly summed up the fickleness on not just this forum but football fans across the board. Woolford goes from zero to hero in just two games. The next time he has an indifferent game no doubt the knives will be out again.
