cider head
Who took over a song? Johnson said was about fans leaving the dolman early as he made comments about it ''Johnson said stay till the end'' fans around the old ysc/3 Lions changed it to Johnson said bounce around the ground as they were looking for a ''bounce'' type of song as the ultras abroad do but needed an original song, the ysc (yellow subbers) always sang were all pissed on a yellow submarine and were singing it on this night, but others took the tune to sing ''Johnson said stay till the end'' and a few ysc started bouncing then changed the words to Johnson said bounce around the ground at the same time,, i know i was there fella' So In 2008 BBC, four four two magazine and sky got in touch regarding the whole Johnson said bounce around thing. It wasn’t Johnson who started it was fans around the old ysc/3 Lions. Sky politely turned away as it was about supporting the side not commercialising an idea. The club then marketed the bounce with t shirttys heavy advertising despite being urged to leave it to fans and very quickly it was finished as the pont was lost. Should have been left as part of that era because a lot of fans put it with mauled by tigers jester hats that sort of thing. A good idea at the time murdered because it became plastic, contrived,. cringeworthy. If the club are really interested in getting some campaign going they should do it from bottom up get on to the fanzines , ST -SC, people behind the Gerry Gow testimonial, local City pubs and ask for ideas. They have been urged to do this for years but seem to be going the other way.
Sargent Pepper
FFS. Some people are never happy. The club are trying to raise a little awarness and create a positive mood for petes sake!
citywest30
It's hilarious! Great to see the players like normal people, having a laugh. If people can't see it for the light hearted bit of promo it's meant to be they need to chill out a bit. Superb!

Frome Valley
City have earned their poor gates, they have they done too little and often badly away from the football. It is going to take a lot lot more than a silly video with a superficial request to restore a jaded fan idea from another era to build up support and allegiances. I doubt if I will see one sign of BCFC on the drive of several miles to my workplace today.
ooRya
Don't think we're going to get the bigger gate everyone is hoping for. Just booked 2 tickets in the dolman and had plenty of choice.
