RedorDead BCFC
Who do we have as back up to Albert at the moment? we might have Foster and Skuse who could play there but for the past few years we have been using players to fill in. Would be good to have someone to challenge Albert would give him something to aim a instead of becoming complacent. Don't think just because he didn't earn a contract at palace means he's shite did start 19 times last year in the French top division. Albeit they got relegated but he could turn out to become our next hero or flop. I trust Del will make the judgment call on it

Coombsyballs1994
Worth a look. Remember we had Quincy owusu-abeyie on trial! We didn't rate him and he's continued at a high standard
Ron
It's just a trial. If McInnes offers him a contract then there must be something to him.
Red-Robbo
Hmm failed to impress to earn a deal at Palace... That might have more to do with Freedman being hopelessly out of his depth as a manager, rather than this bloke. No harm in giving him a trial. !james
Where does it say Palace didn't want him or failed to impress? "He undertook a trial with the Robins' Championship rivals Crystal Palace recently, but failed to secure a contract with Dougie Freedman's side." no mention of couldnt agree personal terms or wages etc, failed to secure a contract generally means he didnt impress and thus not offered a deal
!james
quote from Freedman on Kossoko: "Kossoko is a different one. He wasn't conditioned enough to step right in and unfortunately for us right now, our squad is not the biggest, so if somebody is signed, they need to be stepping in right away. "I just felt he was conditioned enough to play for us and it was a decision quite easily made for me." from Palace forums after Kossoko played for them in friendly v Swindle: On Kossoko: Just got back as I am staying up this way for work. Kossoko's first two moments were a classy pass and a superb shot from distance. Bit of a lull and then showed a lot of skill on the right wing (although he moved around a bit as the half wore on). Fans were singing "sign him up" after 2 mins. Had a few dodgy moments though and we jokingly shouted and sang to Dougie not to be too hasty - but he looks a talented player. Similar in stature and style to Wilf - less tricks but a bit more direct. He also knows how to play as a winger as his tracking back and defensive positioning was good (one defensive nightmare when he made a sloppy pass, but he ran back hard and got a challenge in to try and make up for the error). Obviously that was one sub appearance in a friendly but he certainly has a lot going for him. Could be a great piece of business if that was a fair reflection of his play today. We were salivating at the prospect of having him, Wilf, Joniesta and Baxter in the same side. Probably getting way ahead of ourselves, but it was nice to get excited about attacking possibilities. pride of the west
Got 4.30 mins in and no end product what so ever. Although this vid is a couple of yrs old he may have improved. No harm in having a look i spose. Although i think this trial is mainly to give albert a kick up the ass. Del doesnt seem the type to sign a foreign trialist
hippy273
Paul Anderson and Foster are good backups as wingers are they not? don't need him really. Not to mention Davies played on the wing at Derby.
Nibor
Hmm failed to impress to earn a deal at Palace... Palace didn't want him so a squad player at best Not too enthusiastic about this, seems it was bolaise over him at palace. Palace and Freedman aren't exactly the epitome of good judgement though. It's an interesting one, a player who can come in despite the window being shut and offer wide competition giving us four players (Adomah, Anderson, Woolford + him) for two places. Good luck to him. glynriley
Paul Anderson and Foster are good backups as wingers are they not? don't need him really. Not to mention Davies played on the wing at Derby. Probably best to let Dmc decide if we need him or not. We don't know what's happening behind the scenes. Maybe the club anticipate Albert going in January , maybe there's an injury we don't know about. Bolasie has gone so that has freed up a place in the squad and if Pitman goes the manager might feel we need another attacking option. Anyway , it's only a trial so lets see how it pans out. RedorDead BCFC
Anderson . . . . Prefers to play left, lalong with Woolford Pearson and Davies. Would be a back up for the right side. As others have said competition is good for all players. Albert might benefit from having competition.
ciderbeans
as mentioned above, seems to be lacking in end product and also seems to be quite greedy on the ball which could get frustrating without the end product.
LondonBristolian
Let's let Del look at him and see what he decides - it can't hurt to take a player on trial and we could use a back-up right-winger. If he impresses then all well and good. If not we've lost nothing.
