Never to the dark side
Listening to BBC radio London of the Charlton v palace match. Palace fans have managed to smuggled in at least TWO flares into their end Two flares have been set off Surely a few explosive dogs would have solved the problem I know some one managed to get a flare set off at a match we played at the valley a few years ago These flares are dangerous and I don't think any one would like these flares any where near them

CiderHider
flares signal hope, they are no more dangerous than a firework, in fact they save lives. why do people hate our freedom so much? NTTDS Surely a few explosive dogs would have solved the problem It would have, but at a cost of 200k per dog to train, plus its trainer, transport, support cost etc.. you are looking at about $1million (no pound sign sorry) per club per year. Hhow many professional league clubs are the in England? Right, that's about half a billion spent on the flare problem, where to next?
Cliftonville
As its the Nigels it will be a few sparklers, but they can be trusted to read the instructions and wear PPE.

CiderHider
As its the Nigels it will be a few sparklers, but they can be trusted to read the instructions and wear PPE. free PPE to the east enders with their ticket, safty goggles, gloves, flame retardant footy top, low smoke and fume football too, incase that catches light, i mean Skuse can hit them hard and if someone strapped a flare to it.. it would be weapon of mass distruction!!!! OH MY GOD, CLEAR THE STANDS OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ATTACKED!!

Harry
Mmmm..now I couldn't ever imagine City fans letting flares off away at Charlton? Nor throwing one on the pitch. I just can't imagine it.
sbred
O dear, I expect total number of injuries are 0. Letting people let off fireworks on bonfire night is far far more dangerous, then someone lighting one and holding it above their head.
Lita For Congo
Yeh, we did it at Charlton and Peterborough away, i thought both times were class. Flares in the eastend would be proper!
