BS3_RED
Just how good was that kid. The boy has got it all. He can score, run, head and his hold up play and link up play was different class. Outstanding player.
Alex_BCFC
Apart from his shocking miss, yes he is top quality and can't see him having many problems in scoring 20 this season. Baldock better value overall though!

Agree, many questioned the price tag but he looked more than the 8m they paid for him today IMO! his finish for they're 5th goal was quite simply outstanding! he will be a prem player next season without question, genius! Luxo Jr.
Don't crucify me, but I think he might be a teensy bit better than Baldock.
You Do The Dziekanowski
He looked good through some sloppy defending, but people would say he caused our sloppy defending. 50/50 for me
Cunnyfunt
No wonder the jocks keep berating Craig Levin. Picking Kenny Miller (now playing in Canada) over Rhodes is crazy. Rhodes is a top player especially in this league and if Blackburn get promotion with the help of his goals he'll be worth every penny.
Ron
He was unplayable. Unsurprising we looked open at the back against players like that.

TBW
He looked alright - Off the ball I don't see anything special at all. He's a very good finisher, gets the ball and will put a shot at goal quickly and won't mess about. He doesn't MAKE anything though and wasn't as amazing as his price tag would suggest. Kept quiet most of the game for me, with a quicker centre back on him he wouldn't have got his first. Carey/Fontaine though? Anyone could outsprint them. Jordan Tansley
movement, touch and the lightning reactions to mistakes were the things that stood out for me, He will certainly play in the Premier League.

He is an exceptional finisher too. Not worth £8m, but certainly one of the best strikers in this division.
BITW
So was our defence. Cant argue with that but to say he can't make anything is off the mark going by today.
RedorDead BCFC
We all knew that given the chance he can score. I put my head in my hands when, we sang what a waste of money. I just knew that it will come back and bite us on our arses. Think he might get heavier marked in the prem but could make it. Bet Roy Keane is happy he sold him saying he won't make it. Eco
If Grant Holt can score 13 goals in the Prem I'm sure Rhodes could at least equal that.

And if his football career finishes early, a career partnering Tom Daley on the high board might open up, judging by some of the acrobatic tumbles he took yesterday. Robbored
Put it this way - when Fontaine miss controlled the ball and Rhodes went through on goal I was 100% sure he wasn't going to miss and don't think that about many strikers. His second goal was sublime as well and overall I though he was excellent. His link play and holding up the ball was top drawer and on yesterdays performance can see why he went for 8m. Maltshoveller
Looks a very very good player to me Good all round forward Only thing against him could be he lacks that extra yard of pace
Red-Robbo
Only thing against him could be he lacks that extra yard of pace Didn't really need it though, did he. Was always making the right run at the right time. Great positional play and an assassin in the box. Too good for this division.
