eskay
I feel very confident that we will come away with all three points today, come on City. 0-2, first clean sheet - get your money on it!!
Super
I have a sneaky feeling for a win today and I am usually the biggest pessimist going!
Tom
Can't see anything beyond a City loss today. Perhaps 4-2.
Tom
Gerken, Foster, Fontaine, McManus, Briggs, Skuse, Elliott, Pearson, Adomah, Stead, Baldock Subs: Heaton, M.Wilson, Nyatanga, Kilkenny, Woolford, Anderson, Taylor. Davies has done his hamstring, morris has a tweak and Pitman is ill. Gerken in because "sometimes change can be good."
Coxy27
Gerken, Foster, Fointaine, McManus, Briggs, Skuse, Elliott, Pearson, Adomah, Stead, Baldock Reasonably happy with that, maybe it's not the players I would pick, but at least it's a balanced team

Tom
Heaton injured ? No, but the change is not because he has played badly either. Apparently.
Aizoon
Horace says 3-2. I say 1-4, but then I'm not a cheerful young hedgehog but an ageing and increasingly cynical City fan
Youngish
"Sometimes change can be good". What, like the way our defence has benefitted from being changed every single game?! **** off McInnes. Dreadful decision. Heaton is not the reason we've conceded so many goals. Aizoon
No, but the change is not because he has played badly either. Apparently. Makes sense to give the number two a game now and again, but I hope it doesn't mean Del has given this game up as lost already.
Esmond Million's Bung
and here we are again central midfield pairing that has mainly failed over a 4/5 year period back together again, as predicted.
Super
So what does that say to Heaton. For me this is his worst decision by far.
Aizoon
Does anyone know what frequency the appalling RB has given us this time? Is the Yate game live?
Dastardly and Muttley
Sometimes change can be good? Better not tell Lansdown that! Anyway, who's on the left? Stead? Pearson?
REDOXO
Gerken, Foster, Fontaine, McManus, Briggs, Skuse, Elliott, Pearson, Adomah, Stead, Baldock Subs: Heaton, M.Wilson, Nyatanga, Kilkenny, Woolford, Anderson, Taylor. Davies has done his hamstring, morris has a tweak and Pitman is ill. Gerken in because "sometimes change can be good." Given the Cunningham injury this is probably the best team. Hope for a good performance! Gerkin V Heaton well now we get to see what Gerkin can do to keep his place!!

Nogbad the Bad
"Sometimes change can be good". What, like the way our defence has benefitted from being changed every single game?! **** off McInnes. Dreadful decision. Heaton is not the reason we've conceded so many goals. Maybe not, but he's conceded so many his confidence may well be affected. He certainly won't be content with picking the ball out of his net so often however much he may feel he may not be at fault for most of them. Gerken was excellent at the end of last season and no one can say on the form he showed then that he doesn't merit a game. Don't agree with all Del's selection decisions by any means but no problem with taking Heaton out of the firing line for a while.
Dastardly and Muttley
Can't say I am that happy with Stead over Taylor either. I imagine Stead will be asked to do far more tracking back than Taylor would. It's also, obviously, a homecoming game that means a lot to Stead. He'll be up for it no doubt. Dastardly and Muttley
No Vaughn or Beckford for Town due to injury. Good news, means the reserve strikers will get to score 4 instead.

wayne allisons tongues
the same goes for our power house central midfield. Agree totally, just seem to be same faces every game, but shuffled round to fit them in.
Dastardly and Muttley
Anyone spot any logic to this team sheet? Not in squad number, position or alphabetical order? Is it conclusive proof that Delboy picks names out of a hat? http://lockerz.com/s/258562273

It's also, obviously, a homecoming game that means a lot to Stead. He'll be up for it no doubt. I really like stead and quite happy he is starting but much rather Taylor start, we won't need to track back so much if Taylor plays because he holds the ball up so well and seems to be able to link up play a little better. Huge blow to have lost Davies to injury though.
Tall King Blox
were doomed already, got to shake it up a bit, competition for places etc. the way i see it, Gerken got the short straw !!!

marcofisher
Very happy with that team, we are still on a league unbeaten run with Gerken and even though Heaton has done no wrong Gerks should've always been allowed to protect that record! On the other hand would've much rather seen Taylor starting than stead but still pleased. Guessing there's two possible lineups Either: 4-2-3-1/4-5-1 ------------------Gerken----------------- Foster-Fontaine-McManus-Briggs ---------------Skuse---Elliot------------ Adomah------Pearson-------Baldock -------------------Stead------------------- Or 4-4-2 ------------------Gerken----------------- Foster-Fontaine-McManus-Briggs Adomah---Skuse---Elliot--Pearson -----------Stead-----Baldock----------- Seriously hope it's the first lineup!
