I'm sorry to say it but if we have to score 2,3 or 4 goals per game to sometimes salvage a point then we won't remain in this division much longer.I know people on here loved the way we started the season but it's come to a shuddering halt and now I wonder where the next win will come.Please City can we just go back to winning 1-0 even if it's not pretty, it guarantees 3 points and that would do me for the rest of the season. 22A Posted November 6, 2012 Report Share Posted November 6, 2012 I've been reading about Wartime Football. In the 42-43 season, the League did'nt award points for wins or draws. Instead,League positions were decided simply by who had scored the most goals. Back to the present day. 23 lucky and totally undeserved 1-0 home wins coupled with 23 drab, dreary and boring 0-0 away games would see City end the season with 92 points and a goal diff of +23.
