It basicly said that most VG applications are vexatious, trying to stop buildings with legitimate planning consent. One guy just stopped short of calling them c****, I don't know what he means ! What the OP is trying to say is that countryfile is doing a feature on Nimbys applying for Village Green status to stop developers building on it.
