redeye
So Alex Ferguson believes Robin Van Persie could have been killed... What a hypocrite... He has sent out his own players week after week to harm players of the opposing team. His memory also seems to be very selective - as he has forgotten the disgusting and intentional tackle that Roy Keane unleashed on Leeds United's Alf Inge Haaland.- not forgetting the vile gloating that Keane exhibited in print much later. Ferguson should be ashamed of himself at what he will do to sway a bias towards his team and undermine the authorities. Players such as Keane Scholes and Vidic have been sent out under Ferguson's instructions to do far worse than what Ashley Williams did today. In fact his performance was exemplary (would be great to see him in a City shirt). Ferguson's sour grapes betrays arrogance...
Barrs Court Red
He's deflecting attention from a sub-par display. It's clearly worked. He may be a red faced Scottish drunk, but he knows exactly what he's doing.

redeye
Forgotten Cantona's kung fu kick (didn't Ash use it as the cover for their single Kung Fu?) and Ferguson defending it. Success based on hypocrisy and the bullying of officials...

CotswoldRed
Ferguson is revered whatever nonsense he spouts. I wouldn't give him the time of day as his footballing prose is so one sided. I'd rather listen to the views of Stan Collymore.

BCAGFC
spill the beans then!!! Many an undercover documentary regarding his footballing & financial 'dealings' in asian have been made over the years. Then you have the scandal with his son/brother (not sure which it was) who was a ManUre scout. BCAGFC

Bazooka Joe
Fergie said "Robin Van Persie could have been killed" Talk about being over-dramatic. He said Ashley Williams should be banned - why? The Ref saw what happened and booked him (unnecessarily) - end of story. You're just p^55ed that you didn't get all three points Bacon Face - just accept it and move on.
nickolas
**** me. The blokes a joke. Everything about 'Sir' Alex disgusts me. If they lose - refs fault. If theres not enuf added time - refs fault. If they dont get their usual penalty - refs fault. He spends all his time playing mind games with the FA/referees its a joke. Couldve killed him? Have you ever heard such an over reaction? He may be a successful manager and lets face it, there arent many but sorry sir alex, your a ****. Every time he talks like an irrational fool someone comes out suggesting its part of some master plan? Give it a rest. He's a fool. Take the money and fame out of it and apply it to any other business and he's nothing better than a boisterous second hand car salesman. The man lacks respect for others. ballwinningcentrehalf
Well I'd disagree completely. (re: cotswold red) He's been in the game long enough to have the respect from most as well as having respect for most. However he will rarely, if ever, put that above his own side. I can understand it's enough for some people to get their underwear in a twist, but if he'd acted differently I doubt he'd have last so long at such a big club in such a high-pressure environment.
