cider-manc
From a financial point of view I can see a lot if refunds as a lot of the crowd won't attend a week night rescheduled game.
mart
So its a 10 minute storm and the match is off? No its almost 48 hours of constant rain followed by a ten minute downpour onto a saturated pitch.

Kibs
Peterborough & Wednesday winning away, Barnsley now level. Table could be looking pretty demoralising tonight and defeat on Saturday would leave us with a mammoth task. When was the last time a team was bottom going into the new year and stayed up? Guest
No its almost 48 hours of constant rain followed by a ten minute downpour onto a saturated pitch. It was dry yesterday for the majority. The rain was pretty constant from midday, then about 2:45 it was horrendous. Ironically now it's stopped and there is a strong breeze. I'd say it have been playable at 4pm

bcfcbs20
Bit of a shiter can't remember the last game to be called off due to rain. On another note they were playing much better songs pre game than they usually do.

RedM
The standing water had nowhere to go, the pitch was saturated and the water was lying on the surface. The groundsmen were working their socks off with rollers and brushes, but couldn't cover the whole pitch. Infact they were fighting a losing battle, credit to them for the effort. McInnes and the groundsman(?) had a long discussion, the ref looked several times. The ball wouldn't bounce or roll. Yes perhaps if we waited another 30 mins it could have been playable, but it would have been a farce. It seems the drains or guttering were coping either, the walkway behind the Eastend was ankle deep in parts. Just one of those things. Edit: for those asking why Bath etc still on, I live only a couple of miles away from AG and have arrived hom eto be told it wasn't half as bad here.
