...
Bit worried the south-west are going to be under-represented in the world of UK league footy when the gas PLUMMET TO NON-LEAGUE OBLIVION come May. So. Are FGR doing a Cardiff and choking early? Tricky one against Newport today - perhaps we will see.
Aizoon
If FGR were to reach the League, would they be the smallest hamlet ever to do so?
BS15_RED
If FGR were to reach the League, would they be the smallest hamlet ever to do so? I'd imagine so, Nailsworth is little more than a village. Nice place though.

Maybe, but they've got Cheltenham to the north, Bristol to the south and Swindle draw a lot of support from that part of the world. They'd do very well to get 2000 there on a regular basis. slartibartfast
Rushton and Diamonds was small, the ground setting allways reminded me of Frenchay/Hambrook !
Vespa Red
My cousin and family are season ticket holders at FGR. They live in Stroud. Rather they supported them than Swindon or the Gas
22A
So. Are FGR doing a Cardiff and choking early? Tricky one against Newport today - perhaps we will see. Newport 0 - FGR 5 suggests the tricky patch may be over. Meanwhile Cardiff appear to have given up on playoffs and trying for Auto. Next season's local derby for City (dependent on our & other teams results for the remainder of this season) could therefore be Swindon, Saints, Bournemouth or even Brum. Harry
Shows how much stats can sometimes be misleading? Only 39% possession for FGR and they win 5-0! Oshodi and Raccine at the back for FGR playing very well again so I understand. Both out of contract in June, would like us to take a punt. Why wait until June? Can they be any worse than defenders who have been making the same mistakes all season?
Harry
Why wait until June? Can they be any worse than defenders who have been making the same mistakes all season? Absolutely Graham. That is exactly what I'm suggesting. One or both of these lads would come pretty cheap in Jan as they are out of contract in June. Both are young, and both are incredibly promising. Lets take a chance on at least one of these.

Young cheap hungry talent on our doorstep? This aint he normal route BCFC take. Ive watched a few FGR games to know Oshodi, Rachine and Turley especally would all walk straight in to this teams back 4. Scouts have been flocking down The New Lawn this season watching these three and others liike Norwood and Taylor. Unfortunately Mcinnes has got us in a position where we wont be taking gambles on lower league talent any time soon. Shame.
