Scrumpy_247
I know people may disagree but Johnson built us into a organised competitive club. Who would want him back? I would for sure

BS15_RED
If we'd already been relegated, and were rebuilding in League One then yes I'd be all for him coming back, but at the present time he's not what we need.
Cider Robin
No, No, No, No. For all the reasons he was sacked. Our problem is we have not hired the right man since he left.
gas8er
Never go back, GJ did a fantastic job, but we really need to step it up to a different level.

Fiale
He wouldn't come back anyway - he will have Yeovil in the Championship within 2-3 years anyway.
RedM
He wouldn't come back even if we begged him. Why would he, he loves it at Yeovil and they love him. He wouldn't be stupid enough to move.
Fiale
No, No, No, No. For all the reasons he was sacked. Our problem is we have not hired the right man since he left. He was sacked because of the players - 4 managers now, maybe time the players started taking some responsibility.

The Casual Connoisseur
He did a great job, then he completely & utterly lost the plot. NO.
Portland Bill
So we just sacked a manager who lost heavily at home, and people want one back who ended up losing "even more" heavily at home!
CotswoldRed
No thanks. The last 20 games of his tenure were almost as unbearable as McWinless.
WellRedPhil
No, No, No, No. For all the reasons he was sacked. Our problem is we have not hired the right man since he left. This. We have been there, we shouldn't go back. We need to look forward.
LoyalRed
Gary Johnson, SoD, Hoddle, DiMatteo, DiCanio, Billy Davies, basically anyone who has either championship experience or can kick ar$e... Not an inexperienced manager or a Scottish manager

Steve Watts
Gary Johnson, SoD, Hoddle, DiMatteo, DiCanio, Billy Davies, basically anyone who has either championship experience or can kick ar$e... Not an inexperienced manager or a Scottish manager Davies is a parasite, and Johnson has proven he cannot manage at this level. He's at his level now. We're not quite there yet, so no to Johnson. Hoddle has been out of management for too long and I doubt we could afford to prise DiCanio from Swindle. Di Matteo wouldn't come here less than a year after being a Champions League winning boss... his stock is much too high now. Which leaves SoD, who I think is the perfect fit for this club. Built Donny with kids and plays good "Bristol City" style football. Of course, Colin may be about to get the boot from Leeds, and although we bloody 'ate 'im....Not sure I wouldn't want him in charge here..... Scrumpy_247
Steve Watts - I just saw the comment "he proved he couldn't manage at this level" do you remember when we got to the play off final and we were 1 game away from the premier league? We wouldn't have gone down if he hasn't been sacked. We were always competitive.

Tap in
Maybe things would have turned out better for GJ had we not drawn cardiff in the cup, that was the turning point. Most successful City manager since Dicks, none of his replacements have got even near his level of acheivement, had he listened to good advice and bought a top goal scorer in the January window we would have had automatic qualification.I can still remember singing were top of the leeaaague. Red
He was sacked because of the players - 4 managers now, maybe time the players started taking some responsibility. A good club captain to work alongside the manager and who would command the performances on the pitch. But most of all respect from the players! and no to GJ, we were struggling when Millen took over.
Northern Red
No. Was great for 2 and a bit years, then lost the plot. The last few months of his tenure were as bad as anything under McInnes, or Millen for that matter.

BCFC RED
No. In the past. We want a manager who will plan for the future. He never tried or put through any youth when he was here. Also he was very nepotistic which wasn't good!
