22A Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 Interesting question. Tinnion has been on form for some time now and is ideal for the younger players to have around. Newman was one of those thrust into the first team in City's darkest days. In his spell with the club, he played in all 10 outfield positions, so was obviously far more versatile than BT. Rob is probably abit quicker and alot more stronger.. Rob was much better at heading and tackling! Rob was also much tougher and had two good feet but Brian Tinnion is pure class in terms of timing, control over the ball and pin perfect releases from that quality left peg of his..
