Antman
Hats off to Kelly, he's played on quietly in the midfield, getting the tackles in, plus clever distribution - he should have scored today, but no matter - Kilkenny however showed why he should be second choice, light in the tackle (or mostly avoiding them) and his slow sideways distribution doesnt help our attacking play at all - when he came on we leaked goals again - get rid for me,

Red-Robbo
Second choice! He should be last choice. It all started going wrong when he came on for Pearson.

TRL
Never liked Killkenny, probably never will, I do think he would thrive in a team with better, more confident players on the ball than we have. I like the fact he doesn't waste possession of the ball much, but he is lacking so much as a central midfielder, I cannot honestly say how we can accomodate him with our existing midfield players. BS15_RED
Yes Liam Kelly is starting to look very good, he's adjusted to the superior level of Football.

Carey 6
Different types of midfielders, but i think Kilkenny is rubbish anyway. Doesn't tackle, doesn't win headers, NEVER closes down, its so annoying watching him be the closest guy but not close down.
Corleone
Totally different players, at Palarse Tuesday Kelly was atrocious, and putting Kilkenny in a middle 3 including Howard will struggle. Kilkenny is a decent player, nothing more but he hasn't nearly as shit as some people make him out to be on here.
redcherryberry
Poor mangement tbh Changing style of play drastically at a late point in the game isnt good, howard and kilkenny arent giggs and scholes Yeah i thought that. Why bring on two players similar in style? Neither of these two will bother with the ugly side of the game. Bring one of them on but not both. Harry
He does the work that goes unnoticed. We only realised what a good job he did when he went off today. Exactly. Kelly provides everything that we've missed in our midfield all season.
RedorDead BCFC
No contest to me, as someone said on Not 606 Kelly is like Gilberto was at Arsenal, a bit of a unsung hero. Don't notice him too much when he's playing but notice the holes when he's not. Killa is a bit like calling a tall person shorty, I know it's his name shortened but he has to be an embaressment to Australian's. He does do a good job at pointing and whining to everyone. Derk94
Although they aren't the most gifted on the ball, Pearson and Kelly both close down quickly and give the opposition no time on the ball. It showed how much difference that makes when they came off!
Keepers Ball
Ah but does Kelly point as much as Kilkenny? Our Killa pointed within 8 seconds of coming on....a true Master in pointing that lad
cider_dog
Kelly - grit in the tackle, covers well and better engine. Adds value to the team. 'Killa' - points at someone else to pick up or challenge, waits for the ball and whines all game like my wife. They are both short, but one is head and shoulders above the other as a BCFC player. bemmyredjeff
He's slowly gaining in confidence in every game , especially at home and a good reason why Skuse can now be shown the door at the end of the season.
nickolas
My concern is SOD clearly likes Kilkenny. Hes said hes tried to sign him in the past too. Unfortunately hes clearly not seen the pointing, running alongside opponents rather than tackling, cant head, shoot or make an incisive FORWARD pass. I also understand he was close to a move back north before Del left. Was told he could go so it hardly seems like he wants to be here, apart from the £000's hes obviously getting!! RedorDead BCFC
Think once he gets his first he will score a few, he tried to pass it around the keeper yesterday when he should of leathered it. But in fairness would anyone of betted against Davies yesterday when he was one on one with the keeper. Seemed like we wanted to prove we can score from corners and free kicks yesterday.
