Depends how many seats would be lost from segregation imo and how many stewards etc would be required for the area of fans, if a similar amount then I wouldn't be against it but can't see the club going for it with the Ateyo now housing the family section.

Would like to see more fans in the east end though, would certainly make the atmosphere emanating from the stand better. Imagine a stand out City fans all going mental the way Wednesday fans were when they scored, would look impressive.

Currently a logistics nightmare as has been mentioned before

Why would it be? Away fans were down that end of the ground for years.

If the players cars were put somewhere else (say a coach brings them in from the training ground like PL clubs do) away coaches would easily fit into that fenced area

Sorry , but the eastend is a shit hole by championship standards, thats where they should remain for now.

That is the sole reason for not doing it, but is there much more demand for people to sit in the EE?

The danger would be having say 1k fans in there it would look very empty and would it achieve anything.

Yes if we were getting big enough crowds there may be a benefit, but if the likely relegation happens, looking through the sides in Div 1 there are not that many with massive support, so moving them more into the corner of the EE maybe the easier option?

It wouldn't work. The exits to the Atyeo go under the stand, fans would merge and potential issues.

Whats to stop city from building a dividing wall to separate the fans? If your on about on the out side of the stand then away fans merge with each other at most grounds.

Keep it as the EE! It's better if the away fans are their because of the banter and we don't want them having back seats, we want them to keep the backless seats.

Why don't we put the old seats into the away bit of the atyeo?

Whats stopping the fans in the atyeo from having banter with the away fans?

What about the current season ticket holders who have probbily sat there since the stand was opened,

Remember the fuss about moving the family section to that stand at the start of this season?

I know some fans will no want to leave there seats but the stand is going to get rebuild or knocked down any way.

If the seat means a lot to them then they should be able to buy them from the club.

Just wait until Ashton gate is redeveloped, we will have a brand new east end.

We will have new seats at the upper part of the east end, brand new toilets/bar etc etc. Keeping the Atyeo fans happy to move over, seems to be the plan anyway.
