We will be in new territory. Can all you keyboard warriors please go easy on the blood-letting?

If you are one of those who has sharpened the skills of gratuitous insult giving to complete unknown individuals under the cloak of anonymity give it a rest for the next few weeks.

The real world will be bad enough without any potential vitriol and spite on here

Nice sentiment but the reality is that most fans are simply angry and frustrated by the clubs lack of progress despite having a very seriously wealthy owner. Now after eventually reaching the Championship after 8 season's in Div 1 we are heading back into the depths of the lower leagues.

Can you really blame fans for just a little angry and pissed off?

Its already started. Criticism is one thing. And god knows is sometimes deserved but calling a player a alcoholic because he missed a penalty is out of order imo. Only a few weeks ago a former player who always gave 100% +is always happy to mix with supporters was called a smackhead! Disgracefull! The internet has many many good points. But also has a downside. Many of the people who are the most vitriolic + nasty in their posts either don't go to games. Love to moan or are simply trolls. As somebody said on another thread somebodys got to come 24th.this season it was our turn! Nobodys happy about it. But let's try to keep our dignity +support the club we love. Ctid.

I would hardly call that 'form' its not as if i'm a serial troll or have done anything like that since... and even then it was only a April Fools joke? thats the problem with this forum, people a judged and once they have been judged and chucked in the bin, there is absolutely no return, regardless of what qualities they add to the forum... Anyway, i've passed the 40 post mark so i can't be that bad. :innocent06:

That's the first time I've come across the term serial troll'..

I think the Internet saves any inhibitions. Think the sad social canteen-culture that develops is a normal bi-product of any socialisation.

I just like to chuck in the odd comment about how shit Bristol R*vers are now an again..... the walls are listening, the trees have ears etc etc
