FIFA has a vice president does it? Is he the one in charge of corruption and providing "escorts" for visiting delegates?

Yeah that was Jackass Warner. He stepped down 18 months ago when the heat was turned up on his backside. Now he just takes rent from the FIFA school be had built on his land in Port of Spain and directs business from his ministerial office in the seat of Gov't.

There are those that regret what they have done and there are those that slink off into oblivion, then there are those that do some time and finally there are those, Like kakass warner here, who show not the slightest remorse or accept the minutest of guilt or contrition and brown bag themselves a job in gov't. There are not many more odious characters that have been involved in football anywhere; perhaps the odd one or two near Lake Geneva but that is it.

You mean the club called Cardiff City, based in Cardiff, playing in a stadium a bricks throw from their home of 99 years? Yes I guess they did.

I was there Tuesday, saw lot of older faces, my Dad and Uncle who have supported the club for 50+ years were there with me as they have been for as long as I can remember. All but one of my mates still go that were going last season, the other is travelling.

I don't like the red, I have no intention of buying any of the merchandise but I certainly wont walk away from the club I have supported with my family for over 20 years, were they in league 2 in red or in premier league in blue I will be there as long as I can. If you consider people like myself plastic then that's up to you but then our definitions of plastic fans are clearly different.

Sorry mate but your club is nothing more than an MK Dons mk 2 now.

The fact that so many of your fans are happy to let it happen, makes you even worse than MK Dons in my opinion.

Must be my first post on here in about 2 years but feel quite strongly about this one.

I live and work on the other side of the bridge as that is the way my job has taken me. The office I work in is full of Cardiff supporters and they all have their own views. Most of them are "reluctant reds" as they put it. They didn't want red but feel they have no choice.......and let me tell you, they do feel embarrassed about it. Some of the comments from the night they got promoted were "not as good as when we went to wembly for the cup final" and "I thought I'd be a lot happier than I was". It's obviously effected them, they know that and there were even fights between the two sets of fans on the night they got promoted in the toilets.

Personally I feel sorry for them. They didn't want it, half of them can't accept it and the other half feel they have no choice. Given the choice I'm the same as any other City fan, I'd rather go down and still have "our" club than sellout to a business. Time will balance all of this out......just hope I get to see it in my lifetime.

Fair enough mate, good post, you are clearly a real fan. However, despite the hugely contrasting seasons we have had, I would not swap with you. I really wish we hadn't gone down, but I certainly wouldn't want to get to the Premier League if we had to play in Blue. You seem like a real fan, so I hope you enjoy next season but, we'd as this probably sounds, I wouldn't swap with you

I honestly have no idea why we're even posting about Cardiff, two leagues higher than us, not our rivals by any means now and by own own mouths, "not even the club we remember". Be better off just ignoring Cardiff from this point on because as much as we mock them for whatever reason they're having a great time right now.

Doesn't sound weird mate and if the tables were reversed I would probably feel the same.

If a poll was done of the fans the vast majority would have the blue back and it will undoubtedly return one day and allow some new owner to look the hero. People have an emotional attachment to their local football club and it's only when something like this actually happens would anyone really be able to say how they would feel or what they would do. Not easy to just walk away from a club you love.

To be honest I haven't found it as bad as I thought I would, first few times you see them in red and it feels weird but then I have seen them in red, black, white, green, yellow and blue before. As soon as the whistle goes you forget all about it. The history of the club will always be there, for me the switch from Ninian Park was more of a change. I want the blue to return but taking all the worries of the club going out of business completely into account I can stomach it, end of the day the shirt colour was irrelevant in my reasoning for supporting them (not that I had a choice), as it was my Dad's and I'm sure that goes for anyone.

Cheers, I'm sure I will enjoy it no matter what happens on the pitch, some fans like to talk about the goold old days of scrapping in division three but it isn't as romantic as some like to make out so it will be great to see us in the PL even if for just one season.

Good luck to you, I'm sure if you can keep SOD and a couple of players you want to keep on you will have a decent budget to compete and get back up, certainly isn't easy but the step back hasn't done any harm to Southampton and Norwich.

It's football chat Spike. There are threads on here concerning Stockport , Bournemouth , Portsmouth yet they aren't our rivals either.

You seem to take umbrage with others discussing things to do with your adopted home town so , do yourself a favour and don't click on threads with Cardiff in the title.

FWIW , I have no real feelings on Cardiff's promotion. Sure they were our nearest geographical rivals in the league this last few years , but I dont feel the pain it would cause if it was Rovers getting promoted. Cardiff have been building towards this for a couple of seasons and it was inevitable they'd go up eventually. They deserve their promotion , they have been the best team in the league this season , hopefully we'll be facing them again in 16 months time.

Congratulations to them, shame about the attitude of the owners, but it could be worse - look at the mess that Blackburn are in.

I can't bring myself to hate them that much, my Grandad was from Cardiff. So I wish them all the best. No amount of "blue to red" or "Dragons" banter is going to disguise the fact (and pain) that they will be playing two divisions above us next season.

Well, just relegated, £41m debt, your main benefactor losing interest in favour of rugby, a decrepit stadium and no prospect of a new one... doesn't look good.

I've no idea why you lot are so sure you will bounce back up next season. It took you long enough to get promoted last time and you had some momentum and prospects then. This time the only momentum you have is downwards

Debt to owner, so not the same as your club's shameful debts to the UK tax authorities and local businesses, for which you should've been docked points on two occasions.

No truth in the rest of the drivel you claim either.

If you actually read this board you'd see most are not predicting a swift return, but you've obviously been too busy up to your traditional rustic bestiality practices.

One other point. You are a nob end of epic proportions.

You're now going on ignore and I encourage other Otib users to do the same.

Looking forward to you coming on here next season, after each game that you have had your Malaysian arses whipped.

But then, you will conveniently go missing again won't you ?

You only appear on here when things are going well for you.

W****r

I come on here my luv'r because I work in Bristol but also because we have been rivals in the same division. Next season we won't be and, irrespective of whether we come straight back down, not the season after in my view. So I really can't see me bothering on here much. Times change, we move on, albeit in opposite directions :-)

Move on then and shut the door on the way out you annoying welsh****.

You pal are a cock of epic proportion. You talk sh-it and as stated before are a sell out bellend. I don't care where you work or what division you are in.

I used to think you added something positive to this forum but over the last week or so you have proved what deep down I always guessed, you are a sad sell out pr-ick who really wishes you supported a real club like us and not a Franchise brand name like Cardiff Dragons, Cardiff Fire or as I think you should be called Cardiff Sell Out Bastards.

Now go away.

P.s Is "Fire & Passion" you new motto? Only I saw it on the Red Scarf you hero Craig Bellamy was holding?
