As the inbred red birds have made it to the premiership i thought i should start a thread of congratulations to our incestious sheep fiddling, track suit wearing, leek munching, daffodil wearing, sell out plastic lady boy loving malaysian rivals from across the bridge(which should be a wall).please feel free to leave any compliments here.

Did anyone else notice on SSN a few days ago? FIFA's vice president announced that "Although Cardiff & Swansea are in the Premiership next season, Celtic & Rangers will NEVER be allowed to play in the English Leagues".

As he said the plural of league that means they can't even join the Conference or the Northern League.

I honestly feel sorry for this bloke. He truly believes his club has died.

Id go as far to say he was a true fan by not following a path that changed the identity of his club....

...unlike the two tosser that frequent on here.

May i suggest the two "Cardiff Dragons" fans look at that pic of Craig Bellamy wearing red, holding a aloft a red scarf with Cardiff emblazoned on it...

...do you still feel Cardiff City got promoted?

You mean the club called Cardiff City, based in Cardiff, playing in a stadium a bricks throw from their home of 99 years? Yes I guess they did.

I was there Tuesday, saw lot of older faces, my Dad and Uncle who have supported the club for 50+ years were there with me as they have been for as long as I can remember. All but one of my mates still go that were going last season, the other is travelling.

I don't like the red, I have no intention of buying any of the merchandise but I certainly wont walk away from the club I have supported with my family for over 20 years, were they in league 2 in red or in premier league in blue I will be there as long as I can. If you consider people like myself plastic then that's up to you but then our definitions of plastic fans are clearly different.

Cardiff City Malaysian Dragons ltd. deserve to be in the league, a vile beautiful club, with sellout beautiful fans. The owner has worked wonders, having had the tolerance enjoyment of travelling to Cardiff and watch all the sheep players on the pitch bleating waving at him. Onwards and upwards to the promised land of Malaysia truly Asia the Premier League.

It's also true though.

If supporting my local club over the last 21 years in all divisions and continue to do so makes me a coward you need some perspective in life.

The colour clearly means less to me than some people, the name, the location and the fans are deemed far more important to myself. The colour will return, the club may well end up back in the lower leagues and I will still be there when others are not, the coward that I am :D

Good article, not sure I'd walk away from the club but I'd genuinely rather support my team in the 2nd/3rd/4th tier of English football than sellout and take it up the backside the way Cardiff have just for a season in the Premier league.

Bellamy doesn't even look particularly happy in that photo, almost a little embarrassed actually.

FIFA has a vice president does it? Is he the one in charge of corruption and providing "escorts" for visiting delegates?

i wouldn't bother trying to convince me Pal.

Maybe you should try making your point the fellow on the link or the Cardiff City fans emailing Talksport the other night.

If you feel its still Cardiff City then that's your view though why you feel the need to explain on another team forum is beyond me.

You should concentrate on the fans you've lost

It's a forum discussing my club, in fact at certain points this season it has felt like a mini Cardiff one anyway.

I don't personally know any of the fans that have walked away.

And I'm just stating facts more than an opinion, Cardiff City in Cardiff with the vast majority of fans who have always gone down.

Anyway all the best next year, sure it will be interesting to see how you bounce back.

When we played against Hull in the play-off final we took 40 odd thousand there as we all wanted to reach the promised land and play in the Premiership? Imagine watching quality sides like Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal etc - okay, they'll take a few thumpings and might only stay there one season but so what? I'd love to see City get there but being honest, I can't see it happening at anytime soon which is a real shame.

I'm a season ticket holder at city for 12 years but my opinion is that life is too short for hatred, good luck Cardiff fans, enjoy every minute of it...
