Harry Posted May 6, 2013 Report Share Posted May 6, 2013 Would rather we picked up Jamie Turley from Forest Green on a free, and Cheyenne Dunkly from Kidderminster for not very much. Both composed centre halves who have more bravery in their left nad than all of our current CBs put together. Wages would be very realistic too! Like GrahamC said, long gone are the days of this club spending 5/6/700k on a single player let alone a cool mill. Maguires been linked with Prem clubs ever since he made his debut & if he is looking to move on this summer we wont even be on his or his agents radar. From what i gather our new transfer policy is young CHEAP off the radar types (Harry gives two fine examples of this in Turley & Dunkley) NOT young expensive & completely unrealistic. Not to mention the fact we couldn't afford him. We couldn't offer anywhere near a million. Some on here either don't live in the real world and think football is as simple as football manager, or they are smoking something they clearly shouldn't be. Embarrassing.
