Cunnyfunt
Crazy owners. A ridiculous appointment in the first place as was the Norweigan bloke all following on by the sacking of McCarthy (which was probably just) only to leave Terry Connor in charge. Why they didn't get a quality replacement after McCarthy was strange. They deserved the drop as much as us.

Cunnyfunt
They should of never sacked Big Mick.I can understand sacking of McCarthy. Wolves were terrible during the end of his tenure but not to replace him with a decent manager straight away was poor.
myol'man
Big shite club who should never have got rid of McCarthy, deserve the double drop. Don't feel sorry for Saunders, he'll join the managers merry go round or turn up as a pundit somewhere.

Taylor10
Gutted about this. I have absolutely no doubt they will be a force again next season now. Saunders didn't know his ass from his elbow and would have messed things up even more. Very annoying. Shambles of a club mind.

Again we will never know.
redfred
Don't forget that there was a demonstration by Wolves fans to get Mick out after they lost at home to West Brom last season. They deserve everything they get.

Portland Bill
Strange when you consider Saunders got his previous team to the top of the league that Wolves are in next season!
MichaelRobartes
Agreed. Steve Bruce is a championship manager im afraid. I don't see why people think he would have saved Wolves from the drop? But would they have suffered successive relegations under him? I'm not so sure.
Taylor10
But would they have suffered successive relegations under him? I'm not so sure. We will never know I guess. I would say that they most probably wouldn't have suffered successive relegations under Bruce. He is a championship manager and would have certainly made them competitive. Steve 'Mrs Doubtfire' Bruce is your run of the mill manager though, similar to that of journeymen players.
AshtonGreat
He really isn't that good a manager. The league table would suggest otherwise.
