Cider red
Not that bad really for a fourth tier game against a side like S****horpe though isit? would we get any better than that in their position? if so not by much I don't think. But the point is, we're not in the fourth tier and we never will be. And S****horpe are one of the bigger teams in that division!

SouthBristolCityBhoy
A shocking 6200 for the 1st home game of the season. Were you really shocked? What did you expect them to get?
Cider red
We're only in the league above them now and our crowd last weekend was more than double of theirs. More than double, all bet it with a much better away following no doubt. My point is they are relative minnows anyway, what are people expecting them to get? 10k?? when was the last time that happened for an average league game!? GodEmperor Palpatine
I was shocked they got 6000, thought it'd be 1000 less than that... S****horpe must have bought a fair few then.

Globe Trotter
I think the relative enjoyment at this rather low figure is caused by the fact that their "loyal supporters" often come on here and various other sites to boast how great their support is in comparison to ours and how they will (again) walk the league, (yes that is the fourth league out of...yes four professional leagues in the whole of England), build a 63k capacity stadium, which they will fill every fortnight, then win the league cup, the fa cup and more importantly (to them) the ldv autowindscreens paint windscreen trophy shield windscreen cup (they smashed us 1-0 in this comp about 8 yrs ago don't your know) this year, next year, and the year after while still achieving promotion to the premier league within the next 6 to 8 months. John Ward is the messiah and the fact that the Shitheads get better attendances, better players, better media coverage, have an actual identity and continue to obtain a higher league position in a better league year after year after monotonous year is just a terribly random fluke than happens to keep manifesting itself perpetually throughout the course of time immemorial. Don't forget their awesome away support where they take at least 3000 every game....
timothy bird
The point is that they take the p about our poor support when we get 13,500. What they get at the men is irrelevant any way, theyl soon be moving into a new state of the art stadium and getting 25,000 every week-oh hang on! Globe Trotter
Don't forget their awesome away support where they take at least 3000 every game.... ah yes do excuse me. They sold their allocation out at Exeter and Newport before the tickets had even gone on sale!! They made, printed and distributed their own tickets and indeed sold them all before the last game of last season had even kicked off! That's how committed gasheads are. They cant make it to the other side of their own city (due to very localised public transport issues, bird flu, hot spot etc) but boy...take them to some polo-playing, lacrosse stick-wielding rugby stronghold and they will show their numbers. Exeter was just a blip mind, as was the Watford under 9s Second X1 and S****horpe United who only turned up to see how many times they could hit the beans. Yes...yes Newport will be different. TV Tom
A few numpties on here trying to say 6200 is decent, usually their crowd for the 1st game is 8-9000. 6200 is a truly shocking attendance for the Barcelona of league 4 and they were actually celebrating a 0-0 draw today against Lincolnshire's finest, S****horpe for **** sake, they actually relish the title of "rag-bag Rovers" they are nothing but an embarrassment to our wonderful City with their lack of class & ambition, i'll be glad when they are out of Bristol and **** off up to Gloucestershire, nothing but a bunch of thieving pikey parasites. sglosbcfc
What a rubbish thread, everyone knows if they had all their fit players (because they're the only club that get injuries) then they would be top of the league and in the second round of the League Cup, and that if it wasn't the League Cup they would have had a crowd bigger than 4800 and if it wasn't the balloon fiesta they would have had a full house today. Oh one final thing, if it wasn't for Bristol City they would be the biggest and best club in Bristol.
