Skuse sounds like he's carrying on much where he left off at City - playing unspectacularly and fairly anonymously in a struggling Championship side. Not many teams want to afford to give him a free role like we do, and in the past we have shoved Skuse in all sorts of positions for cover, like RB. Most new signings won't have fans giving them grief by the first week of September. Best to check what the respective group of fans think come January.
