Manon
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/24174069 Why aren't we (england) putting more than just london forward? Italy have put two cities forward, Spain four. Would be nice to see some other city in there like manchester. Wembley is a big big draw to organisations such as uefa, but just a bit bored of the whole London this London that. Is it just me? Also, love the way wales 'opted' to use cardiff. Where the hell else would they put forward?

Where the hell else would they put forward? Because only 1 city can get it from each country, and as spain and Italy dont have official national grounds they're giving UEFA the choice of ground, where as the FA only want it to be Wembley. However this Euros will be crap and again shows the incompetence of UEFA

You Do The Dziekanowski
So you could play all your group games in England and France then your next game could be away in Greece doesn't seem fair Also the airline companies must be absolutely Loving It

If 1 country can only host games, what happens in the group stages. 4 teams so need 2 grounds per group so you could play 1 game at wembley, next in Madrid, back to wembley and then last 16 off to Moscow and then to Milan for the quarter finals. It is basically uefa trying to make money out of this, each country pays them a figure to host games. How is this fair on fans to travel like this, but seeing this is uefa just like FIFA they don't care about fans only how much money they can make. 22A
Before the break up of the USSR and Yugoslavia and when the likes of Andorra and Lichtenstein didn't compete, life was so simpler as UEFA consisted of 32 members. 32 = 8 groups of four who'd play each other H&A. The eight group winners would progress to the quarter finals and would be paired up to play H&A. That would leave just 4 teams who would then go to whichever country was host nation. One semi final on Tuesday night, the other on the Wednesday with the final at the weekend.
