Esmond Million's Bung Posted September 30, 2013 Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 It'll be Saturday against Vale. it might well be, but having watched the extended highlights of the Colchester game, every single moment of danger from Colchester there was and has been 1 vital ingredient missing and missing for 3 years now and that is tackling, opponents seem to be able to move unmolested from their box to ours, the only defensive I saw was Williams last ditch tackle from a mistake of his own making and to be honest on another day that could have turned to rat shit. True and that last ditch tackle was a heart stopper, we play pretty passing football (with no end product) but when the opposition has the ball, we do tend to back off and give them far too much room to play... Its like the players (barring Marv) are too scared of getting skinned. Another moan is the lack of movement off the ball when in possession, its very frustrating to watch but hopefully that comes soon enough when the penny drops.
