fka dagest
Why Williams didn't start yesterday I'll never know. He's been our best defensive player this season. As for Gillet, he's just one more loan player to warm the bench isn't he?
Major Isewater
Looks like a strong line up, a sprinkling of youth and experience, my Bristol Nan is about 125 years old....seen it all Was going to put my nan on the sub's bench ,she's been dead over 20 years but would still be more mobile than Flint ! Coach would n't want to break the Ozzy / Flint partnership which worked reasonably well and Williams played in two international matches,so would be less fresh. Plus perhaps it was decided to start him on Tuesday which promises to be harder match. Just conjecture like .

The Right Honourable Les Q
I think that GrahamC had it right the other week, something like: JET, Williams, Parrish, and someone else. The rest doesn't make any difference. Pick who you like. He might add Osbourne, now, as a def starter. Don't think this has changed (not that I'm speaking for that GrahamC, mind)

Don't think this has changed (not that I'm speaking for that GrahamC, mind) Yep, you are actually. Parish is our best keeper, Willams our best defender and JET scores most of our goals and creates the rest. I was impressed with Osborne yesterday and understand why Wagstaff starts, but it makes very little difference who plays from all the rest. I was impressed with Osborne yesterday and understand why Wagstaff starts, but it makes very little difference who plays from all the rest. The difference must come (and you can call me shirley if you wish, or shorey even) surely the difference is made in the week, on that training pitch, with the coach and his staff and what he, or they, can coax out of the resources he has. That's where much 'respected' coaches do their thing and then punters marvel at their ability to get so much out of, seemingly, so little. That's why we went for a 'respected' coach. But he's not doing it. The performances are poor. The players are like sheep. The Guardian, in August, previewing League One, thought we had two things going for us. Jet and Sod. They got one right there. How long does sod need to show us he can do more than DMc, Millen?

Finally a sensible solution. We'd run them ragged if this lot turned out. The only problem is, Portland Bill's nan is still injured and Red Robbo's nan is suspended following her red card. Surely she realises by now that you can't get away with nutting the ref.
